EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

 

 

Ken Oaks—President and Chief Executive Officer

 

Ken Oaks is the founder and owner of Total Quality Logistics. Under his leadership, vision, and direction, TQL has averaged more than 50 percent growth each year since its inception and has received numerous awards and accolades from the Greater Cincinnati business community and transportation industry.

Oaks is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati as well as the boards of the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He is a native of Cincinnati and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Dayton.

 

 


 

Kerry Byrne—Executive Vice President

 

Kerry Byrne is responsible for the sales operations at Total Quality Logistics. Prior to joining TQL, Byrne spent 17 years at Fifth Third Bancorp where he held the position of Vice President and Director of the Private Client Group.

He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. Byrne has served two terms on the UC College of Business Alumni Board of Governors and remains active as an alumni of the university's baseball program. Byrne also currently serves as President of the board of Starshine, the Pediatric Hospice Association affiliated with Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

 

 


 

Mike Zins—Chief Financial Officer

 

Mike Zins leads the accounting and finance functions of the company and is responsible for the overall planning of our financial strategy and long-term business development.

Prior to joining Total Quality Logistics, Zins spent 15 years in a variety of financial, business and product planning leadership positions with Microsoft® Corporation, Burlington Industries, and Procter & Gamble.

He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Dayton and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

 

 


 

George J. Rewick—Chief Information Officer

 

George Rewick leads our company's information technology department. In his role, Rewick is responsible for developing and enhancing the IT strategy as well as implementing and operating the IT systems with an emphasis on delivering highly reliable services, increasing company productivity through technology and delivering profitable, value-added services for our internal and external clients.

Rewick joined Total Quality Logistics following his position as Senior Vice President of Global Technology Services for Convergys Corporation. While at Convergys, he also held a variety of roles, including Senior Vice President of Global Network Services, Senior Vice President of Data Center Services, Vice President Product Development for Convergys’ Cable & Broadband Solutions business unit and Vice President of information technology for Convergys Information Management Group. Prior to Convergys, Rewick worked for Chemical Bank. Rewick began his professional career as an intern at Dubravica Oour Agromarketing in Zagreb, Yugoslavia.

Rewick holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in decision sciences and computers from Rider University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

 

 


 

Eric Grothaus—Vice President of Human Resources

 

With more than 20 years as a human resources professional, Eric Grothaus leads the team responsible for recruiting, employee relations, and leadership development. He also manages TQL's compensation, benefits, payroll, performance management, and employee recognition systems.

Grothaus previously held various human resources positions with 3M Precision Optics, formerly known as US Precision Lens, Inc.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Xavier University.  Grothaus is also a graduate of LEAD Clermont and several Executive Leadership programs.

Grothaus is a current member and Chair of Clermont 20/20, Inc.'s Board of Trustees, a member of LifePoint Solution's Board of Trustees, a member of the University of Cincinnati Clermont College Dean's Advisory Council, Northern Kentucky University's Career Center Advisory Board, and a board member of Be! Wellness Solutions.  He is also an active soccer coach for the Cincinnati Soccer Alliance Soccer Club in addition to coaching local youth basketball and volleyball teams.

 

 


 

Jeff Montelisciani—Vice President of Sales

 

Jeff Montelisciani manages the day-to-day sales operations and overall strategic planning for the company's rapidly growing team of sales professionals. Now in his tenth year at Total Quality Logistics, he was originally the company's fourth employee and the first TQL employee promoted to a sales management position.

Montelisciani attended the University of Cincinnati and is an active member of the Ohio University Sales Advisory Board, the Clermont County Big Brothers/ Big Sisters organization, and the selection committee for the Everyday Freedom Heroes program. He is also a coach of local baseball and Little League football teams.
