"I discovered TQL when I was going through the campus interviewing process at Miami University. I was graduating with a degree in marketing and was interviewing with all the big companies. I just couldn’t get excited about being such a small player at one of the big corporate giants.
"Then, I remembered I had received a postcard from TQL inviting me to visit their website. I was on the phone with my dad, and he said, ‘Nat, just go check them out and try to get an interview.’ Two weeks later, I was having my final interview. I was out on the floor shadowing a team of Account Executives and it was awesome. We were cheering and yelling… the whole atmosphere was contagious. It completely changed my perceptions of sales careers.
"Now, as a Logistics Account Executive here at TQL, I have the autonomy to control my own destiny. It’s like I’m running my own little company, but TQL provides ongoing training, mentorship, and resources. Now I’m well on my way to a successful sales career of my own. What I really like about my role here is I have such strong relationships with my clients and they really see me as their partner. I talk to some clients on a daily basis; sometimes I fly out to see them and take them to dinner; and I even know the names of some of their kids! I am the first person they call when they have a problem. That’s a big responsibility that they bestow upon me!
"Our business has grown really fast here at TQL, but we still have the smaller-company feel and culture. I can't imagine what my life would be like had I taken a job with one of those large corporations. I have been here four years and when I go out with friends who don't work at TQL, they never want to talk about their jobs. It seems that's all I ever want to do!"

"I discovered TQL through a college friend and current employee. It didn’t take much for him to convince me that this company is a great place to work. I heard from a recruiter soon after I applied on the company’s website. The interview process included an on-site visit, during which I had the chance to observe an experienced LAE and witness the excitement of the sales floor. The visit gave me a chance to see what it was really like to be a part of this team.
"As an LAE, my daily goal is to exceed the expectations of my clients. Unfortunately, many of our clients have not had great experiences with customer service prior to working with TQL. Our company, however, has a great reputation in the industry and it is our philosophy to overservice our clients. I make sure I know what is happening with my accounts at all times and update my clients frequently. If a problem happens to arise, I handle it with speed and integrity. My clients appreciate this and I am able to build stronger, lasting relationships with them.
"I love the environment that TQL provides. From the beginning, I was given the opportunity to treat this job as my own business. I have the freedom to make important decisions regarding my accounts and TQL provides resources and guidance to help me grow and strengthen my client base. It is extremely satisfying to know that I am directly responsible for my success. I believe the sky is the limit here at TQL, and I see a bright future for myself with this company."

"TQL was very thorough during the interview process, which I appreciated because there was no question in my mind what would be expected of me once I was hired. I was very impressed with the values that this company was built on: ethics and teamwork. When I was asked to work here, I accepted immediately.
"One of the main reasons I joined TQL was because I knew of the company’s rapid growth rate and the potential for upward movement. I started at TQL as an LAE, but within a few years I had developed a very successful client base. I was promoted to Group Sales Manager and now lead a team of more than 40 individuals. With the help of management, both old and new, I was able to embrace this opportunity and the challenges that come with a leadership position.

"As a Logistics Coordinator, my day-to-day routine has a ton of variety and flexibility. My main role on the account is to build lasting relationships with our carriers. It is my responsibility to make sure the carrier is on course for the delivery appointment and that the product arrives to its final destination to the client’s satisfaction.
"The job is fast-paced and requires a great deal of patience, organization, and people skills; but it is thrilling to know that my hard work can have a profound effect on the success and profitability of the load.
"I am very comfortable at TQL. As a young professional, I find that I share a similar work ethic and similar career goals as many of my coworkers. Although sales approaches are diverse and personal to each account, we all share a common vision for this company. It's refreshing to work with people who are energetic about the work that they do.
