At TQL, we feel it is important that we take an active role in keeping our home a great place to work and live. We recognize that minimizing our environmental footprint is just one of the ways to do this.
As a non-asset based third party service provider, we do not manufacturer goods or own the physical assets used to distribute them. When it comes to protecting the environment, we choose to use our greatest assets, our employees and our facility, to make a positive impact on our community here in Cincinnati.
Over the past few years, we have added a number of company-wide initiatives to this effect and continue to explore new activities to include on the list. Here are just a few:
- Adopt-a-Highway: TQL has adopted a 2-mile stretch of Interstate 275 and coordinates regular clean-ups of the area.

- T-8 Fluorescent Lighting: Lighting systems are responsible for about 35% of electricity costs in commercial buildings. These special light bulbs help us to reduce our energy consumption.
- Under-floor Air Distribution System: This type of system results in energy savings and better indoor air quality for our employees. It also increases the building’s flexibility for adapting to individuals’ comfort.
- Recycling Program: We have recycling containers available throughout our building for proper disposal of aluminum, paper and plastic. Additionally, we recycle 100% of our printing cartridges.
